Service Governance & Legal Parameters
We believe in transparency. That's why we've clearly outlined the boundaries of our logistics, forwarding, and cargo transit operations to ensure a seamless partnership.
Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: January 1, 2024
1. Acceptance of Services
By engaging BJR DISTRIBUTION LLC for transport or transit services, you're agreeing to the framework established within this document. We've spent 10 years refining our dispatch protocols to ensure your cargo arrives safely.
Have you reviewed our standard operating procedures? Our team operates under strict compliance with NY state transportation laws, particularly those governing Guilderland-based logistics providers.
2. Dispatch and Forwarding Protocols
We manage all transit parameters with precision. When a shipment is booked, the liability transfer happens at the point of handover to the carrier, unless otherwise negotiated in writing. It's how we maintain high accountability across our warehouse network.
Our dispatchers utilize real-time routing software to minimize delays. Note: Estimates provided via our digital portal are subject to seasonal fuel surcharges and route-specific fluctuations.
3. Cargo Transit Parameters
Transit times are calculated based on standard freight transportation speeds. We don't guarantee arrival times for international forwarding unless specific "Priority Transit" tiers are purchased.
What happens if a delay occurs? While we're proud of our 98% on-time delivery rate, force majeure events (weather, port congestion, or infrastructure failures) are outside our direct control. You'll be notified within 4 hours of any documented incident.
4. Warehousing & Storage Claims
Our warehouses for freight transportation are climate-controlled but storage liability is capped at a industry-standard rate per pound. We recommend secondary insurance for high-value electronics or fragile machinery.
"At BJR DISTRIBUTION LLC, our legal boundaries are not just about protection—they are about setting clear expectations for our clients."
— Management Team, BJR DISTRIBUTION LLC
5. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New York State. Any disputes arising from transportation services will be handled in the jurisdiction of Albany County. // @todo check if state law updates affect clause 5.2
